Getting Ready at The Windsor Hotel
Before the ceremony, they got ready at the iconic Windsor Hotel. Highly recommend this if you’re planning a city wedding, the classic interiors and beautiful light make it such a dream spot for pre wedding photos. It also ties in perfectly with the registry office vibe, offering a touch of old-world charm before stepping into modern Melbourne city life.

After the ceremony, we headed into the streets of Melbourne for fun, editorial style portraits. This is one of the best parts about Melbourne city weddings, there are endless backdrops! From laneways and graffiti walls to architectural icons, you get such a variety of photos in just a short walk.
The Reception – The Line, Footscray
The celebrations kicked off at The Line in Footscray (sadly no longer available, but such an iconic space). It was decked out to perfection with:

- Lulu Bird creating florals of DREAAAMS!
- Gelato Messina serving up the sweetest treats from their truck
- Penny Lane Photo Booth bringing the fun
- Off The Hook keeping the energy alive, the coolest guest book EEEVVVVEEEERRR!!!
It was the ultimate combination of elegance and party energy and a real reflection of Tara and Jackson’s personalities.
