Where do I even begin with this beautiful family?
This Mornington Peninsula family photography session with A & P was one of those mornings that reminds me exactly why I love photographing families. We met in the early hours of the day at the breathtaking Arthur’s Seat Sea Wind Gardens, just as the soft morning light began to spill through the trees and the gardens came alive.
Anyone with young children knows that getting everyone out the door… dressed, fed, and in good spirits … can feel like a small miracle. But these legends did it with style and ease. From the moment we met, there was a calm, joyful energy about them that made the entire session feel effortless.
A Mornington Peninsula Family Photography Location Dream
Arthur’s Seat Sea Wind Gardens is one of my favourite locations for Mornington Peninsula family photography, and this session was a perfect example of why. The manicured gardens, winding paths, lush greenery, and glimpses of soft coastal light create an incredible variety of backdrops, all within a short walking distance.
As we wandered through the gardens, we didn’t rush. Instead, we let the kids explore, play, and simply be themselves. Some of the most beautiful moments came from those in between seconds tiny hands reaching for mum, shared giggles, and the way these parents instinctively leaned into their children with so much love and patience.
Effortless, Natural Family Moments
One of the biggest goals of my Mornington Peninsula family photography sessions is to create images that feel real. No stiff posing. No forced smiles. Just connection.
With A & P and their little ones, everything flowed so naturally. We laughed, explored, and followed the light as it shifted through the gardens. Every corner seemed to offer another pocket of beautiful light, so soft, flattering, and timeless! Woo!
