It was a beautiful Summers afternoon on the Mornington Peninsula. Sun shining. Excitement in there. Everyone’s minds brimming with possibilities.
Like many other couples the last couple of years, Hannah and Dylan’s wedding plans went up faeces creek with all the lockdowns… etc. In the end, they planned the coolest elopement in Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula. They had some photos around a creek where they had gone on many walks together and then their friends and family camped at a private property in Red Hill. Their ceremony was around a campfire. Amazing.
The beauty of eloping or having a smaller wedding is you can do whatever you want, and I really loved capturing these two special humans. Even more special was that their elopement was a few weeks before Hannah was due to give birth with their baby girl. She looked like a stunning goddess of Motherhood and love traipsing through the bush with Dylan.
A (now) funny story from this day was that I made the mistake of wearing sandals on a hot summers day in the bush. Half way through our session I felt an almighty sting on the bottom of my foot and looked down to see a friggin’ HUGE bull ant crawling on me. I was limping around, but dedicated to getting the shots 😂😂. Note to self: sandals are now off limits.
Thanks Hannah and Dylan for letting me be a small part of your special day! So happy for the two of you beautiful souls.
