What a wedding!!! Oh my goodness. From the moment I had my first planning session with Hayley and Katie, I knew their wedding was going to be an absolute blast.
Hayley and Katie were married at the fabulous Barn Events in Gippsland!! This place is an absolutely epic place for a wedding. Want to know what makes it even better? What an absolutely amazing day!! The weather wasn’t exactly on their side, but boy did they make up for it in spirit!
The energy of this wedding was unreal. Katie and Hayley went above and beyond to make sure their guests had a great time. Cait assembled an absolute dream team (and what a privilege it was to be included). Tayla Harris delivered a beautiful ceremony, The Little Bar Cart serving up cocktails, Pizzas coming in hot from the Pizza Wagon and amazing music spun by Sarah at Caravan Sounds. It was the kind of day where you cried, laughed and hooted all in the space of a minute.
A standout out was Hayley and Katie’s first dance. Right beforehand, they were the there was a special video message from someone who couldn’t make it. They were a bit confused. The TV flashed on, and there was Kate Miller Heidke with some kind words and a song for them!!!! It was so beautiful. Katie and Hayley then had their first dance to ‘Space they cannot touch’. Shortly afterwards, Hayley and Katie asked their Dads to do a special dance with them. Everyone was expecting some slow pretty waltz, but on blasted ‘Always look on the bright side of life’ from Monty Python. It was nothing short of brilliant.
It was such a pleasure to be a small part of this special day!!
