  1. Choose a venue that has perfect options for an outdoor AND indoor ceremony. Most days it’s going to be fabulous weather for your wedding, however you ALWAYS want a back up plan in case of random rainy days or extremely hot days.
  2. Book your venue, suppliers and accomodation as far in advance as possible. Summer is crrraaaazzzzzy busy on the Mornington Peninsula.
  3. If you’re dreaming of getting married on the beach, choose a venue that has this option for you so you don’t need to fuss around with council permits or setting up a ceremony space in the middle of busy summer season.
  4. Keep in mind that the sun sets very late on summer days, so your dreamy golden hour couples portraits will likely mean ducking out of your reception!
