This is everything you need in a wedding venue AND you’re going to be well looked after by the crew. Barn Events is on 15 hectares of the most beautiful farmland. It’s filled with character and charm with plenty of locations for photos. You’ll have the whole place to yourselves, with the Barn being the perfect place for a reception and the lawn area near the Homestead the most beautiful place for your ceremony. A Barn Events wedding is rustic but with a touch of class if you want it!! There’s horses, tables and some pretty darn amazing sunsets. This Barn Events wedding was AMAZING and I feel so lucky that I get to regularly go back to this amazing place.
So, Chelsea and Matt! Oh my goodness where do I ever start with these two? Together for 10 years since they were in high school, these two have practically grown up together. They wanted a fun wedding so all their friends and family could celebrate in style. A Barn Events wedding is the perfect place for a relaxed, fun and beautiful wedding.
The day started at Chelsea and Matt’s house where I met the boys for groom prep. They were all pretty excited and we had some fun getting their photos (well, I did, they were probably mortified muahahahah). One of Matt’s friends had a kombi van to transport the boys to Barn Events in style! How fun! At groom prep I get some photos of the boys getting ready and the groom getting into his wedding gear. My advice is to get ready with people who are going to make it fun and easy and get you there on time. Matt’s mates were a hoot and it was great to see them helping Matt get ready, fix his tie and figure out the ‘flower doodat’ for his suit.
Next it was off to Chelsea who was getting ready at a lovely air BnB nearby. Check out this beautiful place here. Chelsea, her girls and her Mum were super excited and were on the tail end of hair and make up. This is the best time for me to come so I can capture the final touches and then you getting into your dress! Chelsea had a beautiful Grace Loves Lace dress for her Barn Events wedding. She looked absolutely perfect. We did a first look with her brides maids and then it was time for me to head to Barn events for the ceremony!!
Now I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… I absolutely LOVE a Barn events wedding. This place is SO cool and you really can’t help but have an amazing time. Kaye and Seamus, the owners, have put their heart and soul into turning this barn into a fabulous wedding venue. There’s plenty of space for you and your guests. Not only that, but you have the option to have the absolutely amazing CelebRAIT wedding co plan and coordinate your wedding. Why is this so fabulous? Well not only is Cait an absolute legend, she completely takes the stress off you on your wedding day. She will work with you to choose your vendors and the coordinate everything for you so you literally just have to rock up on the day! How amazing it that? Couples often underestimate just how much goes into organising a wedding! Especially if you want to just have fun and relax, a wedding planner like CelebRAIT wedding co is amazing.
Anywho, I’ve completely digressed. Onto Chelsea and Matt’s Barn events wedding!!! The weather was spectacular for an outdoor ceremony and their set up near the homestead was absolutely beautiful. When chelsea arrived, she did a first look with her Dad which was super special. Then it was ceremony time!! Sophie from Sophisticated Ceremonies put together the most wonderful ceremony. There was laughs, tears and lots of love in the air!! Woo hoo!!
Then it was ON!!! We smashed out some photos and then onto the reception. It was SOOOOO much fun! Lots of dancing, loud laughs and of course the delicious pizza from Primo Street Pizza. What a fun day!! At sunset the legendary Kaye took us on a ride down to the paddock to get some sunset shots. It was spectacular. It’s so nice for you to sneak out at sunset not only for amazing photos but also to take a bit of a breather. You don’t get much time together on your wedding day so it’s an opportunity to take some time away and take it all in.
