The morning of this session, a thick fog covered the Mornington Peninsula. I ummmmed and ahhhhed about whether or not we should go ahead, until my husband finally turned around and said ‘what do you mean?! wouldn’t this make some awesome pictures?’. And boy was he correct. See even I sometimes get caught up in the mentality that it needs to be a bright sunny day for the session to the perfect.
I met Simone, Brett, Winter and baby Remi in the early morning in Shoreham and we began our adventure. Remi was only 8 weeks old and looked absolutely adorable rugged up in a blanket. Winter had a ball exploring the rock pools and the pine forest. That’s one of my favourite things about Shoreham Beach, there’s the beautiful beach AND a stunning pine forest. Definitely one of my favourite places to shoot.
It was such a pleasure meeting this wonderful family, and just in time before another Melbourne lockdown!
